PNCR training events are available at no cost to parents, family members, caregivers, and community members whose children and loved ones have disabilities. We encourage and welcome professionals working with children and families to attend however, please remember, PNCR trainings are NOT designed or intended for use as professional development training hours. The design, content, and delivery of our trainings is focused on informing and meeting the needs of parents and families as they partner with their child's educational team and school district to ensure an appropriate education for their child. Tantrums,Tears,Timeouts: Helping Your Child w/ASD Overcome Challng Behaviors

 

During this training, participants will learn: how to define challenging behaviors; ways to track that behavior; user-friendly tools to help determine the function of behaviors & strategies based on that function. Emphasis will be placed on strategies families can use in the home environment. Presented by Center for Autism and Related Disabilities.
