 Community Connections: Building Creative Partnerships for the Health of all Mainers

Join us at Maine's premier Professional Public Health event, the 28th MPHA Annual Meeting. We will be partnering with many organizations across the State to bring the highest quality of education, innovation and inspiration to those that work in and around the field of public health.

This year's event will bring together approximately 300 public health professionals throughout the State and will feature 10 breakout sessions focusing on innovative prevention strategies to model policies and collaborations. 
         
We are pleased to announce that esteemed colleagues Shiela Pinette, DO, current director of the Maine CDC and Dora Anne Mills, MD, MPH, FAAP, former director of the Maine CDC and current Vice President of Clinical Affairs at the University of New England will co-present an address focused on identifying, creating and sustaining collaborative partnerships within and outside our public health system.  Drs. Pinette and Mills will offer their unique and personal perspectives as physicians, public health practitioners, patients and consumers of our system that will provide conference participants best practice solutions and collaborative approaches to public health.  This exciting keynote address will demonstrate how public-private partnerships can impact outcome-based work- critical information not to be missed in today's challenging economic times. 
    
We will also be presenting two of our annual service awards at this event which highlights programmatic and policy leaders in our field.
