When Thom first came to VGS, he had a hard time being motivated to work and he needed to develop several skills that are critial to being vocationally sucessful.  But everything started to come together for Thom when he found the caring support and guidance he needed at VGS.  He has worked really hard and has truly become a leader amongst his peers.  Thom participates in VGS' Community Based Work Adjustment Program on Cleveland's Westside.  He take initiative and helps out in all areas, and there is no doubt in his supervisors' minds that he will be successful in competitive employmnet.

"My job is great because it's challenging and it gets me out of the house.  I've made good friends here.  I know this place top to bottom and I love the hours." -Thom

A gift of as little as $25.00 to VGS' Annual Fund will make a big difference in the agency's ability to provide vocational skills training, social enterprise work opportunities, and placement services to individuals with disabilities or other barriers to employment.
