Alex Pietsch - Director, Governor's Office of Aerospace. Update on the State Aerospace Strategy and the Paris Air Show
Dr. Amit Bandyopadhyay - Prof., Washington State University School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering. Presentation on Additive Manufacturing (3D printing) of Hard Materials Research at WSU.
Michelle Burreson - Manager of Workforce Development, Boeing. Presentation on aerospace training program development trends.
Attendees will also hear about the latest in composites technology from representatives from Toray Composites (America), Inc. and Pacific Coast Composites.
Additionally, a panel of workforce training institutions will discuss new training opportunities for employers, including: Workforce Central, Clover Park Technical College, the Pierce County Skills Center, and the Aerospace Joint Apprenticeship Committee (AJAC).
A networking reception will be held following the program from 4:30pm - 5:30pm at the same location.
