"Celebration of Achievement"Luncheon  featuring
John Oldham
"Transparency Fosters Trust - Educating Clients to
Win Business While Protecting Your Practice"

John Oldham has made it his mission to help advisors win cases, using his proven sales process and SwitchSafe's database of over 40,000 financial products and prospectuses.  His presentation will focus on real-world compliance strategies that protect your practice and how to use the data to win business on the first appointment.

John is a 17 year veteran of the financial services industry.  He joined Thrivent at the age of 20 and became a council qualifier in his rookie year.  After becoming a top producer at the firm, he joined New York Life, and eventually MetLife, before becoming an independent advisor in 2010.  John worked with several independent broker dealers and the nation's leading FMO for annuity products.  In 2016, John began developing SwitchSafe. Recently launched, SwitchSafe is a mobile device-friendly software product that addresses growing conerns within the industry.  Until now, advisors simply did not have the data they needed to do appropriate product comparison in the field.  Completing replacement paperwork accurately was inefficient, if not impossible.  Additionally, clients are increasingly filing complaints and arbitrations against advisors long after sales are made and are being more successful during those arbitrations.  John's feelings were verified when an insurance company was fined $25 million by FINRA for making negligent material misrepresentations and omissions on variable annuity (VA) replacement applications.
