Wings and Wheels 2014 

Celebrate VE Day, honour our Veterans and kick off the car show season at the annual Wings and Wheels event. This dynamic show features a blend of military vehicles, historic aircraft, and 100 classic cars and street rods displayed at the Canadian Historical Aircraft Association (CH2A) at Windsor Airport.

The event commences with an 11am parade and opening ceremonies complete with bag pipes, horns and drums. Volunteers will be available for tours of the CH2A WWII era hangar and museum.

Register to enter your vehicle.
Cost is $10 and is donated to CH2A.
This fee includes your admission and up to one guest. 

Please note that our venue is a LIVE AIRPORT
Registered vehicles must arrive 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
We must close and lock the entry gate at 10:00 AM.
It will reopen at 3 pm (or if an emergency arises)
 

Bring lawnchairs or anything else you may want. BBQ will be held from 11:30 am - 1:30 pm with food available for purchase.

Door prizes at noon and People's Choice award around 2pm. 

Event organizer, Marcy Kasarda states, “Our goal this year was to bring a more military feel to Wings and Wheels. We specifically chose this weekend as it is prior to May 7, VE Day. This day celebrates Victory in Europe and the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany. We invite all our Veterans to come out and celebrate this day with us, view the military vehicles and planes and know that their service has not been forgotten. And, with our expanded display of classic cars, there will be something here for the entire family.”

Entrance fee is $2 per person or $5 per family.

Veterans and active military are free of charge, just show your military card or sport your uniform.

Food for purchase is available on-site from 11:30 am-1:30 pm.

No Smoking or Pets
(with the exception of service animals)
allowed on the event grounds.
