David Walsh, Maja Saletto Jankovic, James Temple and  Allison White Gryspeerdt will participate in a Funders Panel facilitated by Doug Flanders, Director of Major and Planned Gifts with The United Church of Canada. You'll gain invaluable insights into the funding process from the pros who are doing it every day.

  • David Walsh, an individual funder and President of Carrot Common Corp.
  • Maja Saletto Jankovic, Acting Area Manager at the Ontario Trillium Foundation
  • James Temple of Price Waterhouse Coopers and the Association of Corporate Grantmakers
  • Allison White Gryspeerdt, Senior Manager of the CIBC Children's Foundation

If you need to prepare proposals that really get results, you'll want to attend this intensive skill building session.

We'll start the day off with a Funders Panel facilitated by Doug Flanders. Join us as Doug moderates a candid discussion with these seasoned funders that is guaranteed to enhance your understanding of what funders are looking for. Find out what they really want to see in a proposal and why. You'll learn what sorts of mistakes can scuttle your proposal and how to avoid them.  Ask the questions you've always wanted answered.

The panelists, representing a variety of funding sources, will share their tips and insights, do's and dont's for submitting your proposal and working with them through the assessment process. Doug will query each panelist and elicit what it takes to prepare a submission that maximizes your chances of success.

Following the Panel discussion, Gina Eisler will guide you through the steps to develop your Case for Support, and then we'll spend the afternoon pulling the pieces together to craft your proposal.

Don't miss this outstanding opportunity to hone your proposal writing skills.
