Parking Information:
Arlington Economic Development (AED) is located on the 15th floor of the tallest building of the three Ballston Plaza office buildings. Parking is available in the garage under the building but unreserved spaces can be limited. If you are unable to find an unreserved space, please park in a tandem space and use one of the call boxes to leave your key with the attendant. Parking costs $5 for the first hour and $11 after that. Hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
INSTRUCTOR:
Jody Franklin serves as VP, Director of Accounts and is responsible for helping shape,organize and refine Global Services’ GSA Schedule Programs division. Mr. Franklin hasbeen with the company since 2003.
Over the past fifteen years he has contributed to Global Services’ long history of successfullypreparing, negotiating, and managing some 2000 GSA Schedule contracts for GlobalServices’ clients. Mr. Franklin has worked with companies ranging from multimillion-dollarpublicly traded corporations to micro-businesses consisting of only a few employees and justabout everything in between.
Mr. Franklin is an authority on all GSA Schedules within the Multiple Award Scheduleprogram and has prepared and delivered training sessions on related topics to customersinternal and external. In addition to working with his government contractor clients in theprivate sector, Mr. Franklin provides pro bono services to the Small Business Administration'sSCORE program and Small Business Development Center to assist their constituents inlearning about marketing to the federal government, specifically via the GSA Schedule. It isthis breadth of experience and exposure which allows Global Services to successfullynegotiate the federal procurement marketplace for its clients.Mr. Franklin holds a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
