The Sierra Watercolor Society presents:
"The Artist's Co-op Reno Presents SWS"
For this show please keep the following in mind:
Commission: 35% (25% if you a co-op member)
Reception: TBD
You may enter 2 paintings for hanging (minimum size 11x14, one may be a full-size sheet) and up to 3 bin art.
There is no fee to enter this exhibit. Please fill out the appropriate Co-Op paperwork and include it with your artwork.
Watercolor paintings up to 5 years old, properly wired and taped for hanging, including thosealternatively framed or not* will be allowed for this exhibit. Paintings must be delivered 'ready to hang'.
Some SWS Standing Rules still apply: The 80/20 rule, no work completed in a workshop or under similar instructional supervision, no work shown in 2 prior SWS exhibits in the past 24 months, no clip frames or easel backs; no sawtooth hangers.

*About Alternatively Framed Paintings: Paintings on supports such as Aquaboard, watercolorcanvas, Yupo, etc., do not require matting or framing under glass, but must be protected (sealed) from surface damage by layers of wax, varnish or other permanent protective sealer. These paintings must be presented in a professional manner, where all outer edges are neat and clean or painted as an extension of the work. Sealer must be completely dry before hanging in any SWS exhibit.
Reminder: Membership dues must be paid 30 days prior to Take-In day in order to enter this exhibit!!
Take-In: June 26th to July 1st, 11am to 4pm
Take-Down: July 31st, 11am to 4pm
Registration MUST be done online! Will be Saturday, June 12th, and will close at midnight Saturday, June 26th, 2021.
