The event is free, but be sure to bring a bagged lunch! Only online registration will be taken. Space is limited.

Please click on the registration button below to register your child for 1 of 3 activities in the afternoon. Activities include fingerprinting, robotics and a power plant challenge (descriptions can be found by clicking on the registration link below). Again, just choose ONE activity per child when registering.

Itinerary:

  • 10 a.m. - Check-in; students receive a band based on the activity they registered for.
  • 10:15 a.m. - 11:15 - Group presentation on the environment and the wildlife surrounding Lake Norman - led by Duke Energy environmental scientists.

Each registrant can only register up to 2 children for each activity. Please keep in mind each child will only attend one session - only choose one session for a child.

E.g. if you have two children you are registering for fingerprinting, place the number 2 in the quantity section.
