Pinecraft Discussion & Buffet

The Amish and Mennonites have had a presence in Sarasota since the 1920’s. Many Amish/Mennonites from the North are seasonal visitors. This is an opportunity to learn more about this unique community.
Due to a conflict at the Pinecraft Church, we will meet at the Der Dutchman restaurant at 11:00 a.m. to hear a presentation by Mr. JB Miller, a local expert and former resident of the Pinecraft community. Mr. Miller teaches at ACE and has a wonderful presentation on the community and its rich history. Following the presentation we will enjoy the wonderful buffet at the restaurant.
Registration to close at 50 attendees.
We will eat from the buffet. $25 includes the tour, buffet, gratuity, and a beverage. Come hungry!
