Launch Party at Shore Lodge & Finish Celebration in Smith's Ferry

Propel life changing experiences for motivated high school students.  Join us May 6 at the Shore Lodge to launch Sean’s journey, or May 7 to celebrate the finish.  Both events raise funds for the school’s scholarship fund.

LAUNCH PARTY | May 6

This launch party will start the journey, and you can be a part.  At this event, you can:

• Enjoy food courtesy of the Shore Lodge  
• Donate directly to our scholarship fund
• Purchase tickets and win prizes in our raffle sponsored by local businesses (proceeds benefit scholarship fund)
• Participate in our auction for other great items
• Register to join the Alzar School’s trip on the Wild & Scenic Main Salmon River in July

At midnight, Sean will launch from Shore Lodge and paddle from there to Smith’s Ferry, traveling over 60 miles in just over 20 hours.

FINISH CELEBRATION | May 7

Power the final miles of the paddle journey.  You can:

• Cheer on from Kelly’s Whitewater Park (~2:00 pm)
• Watch the team shoot through Howard’s Plunge, take photos with Larry the Llama (~6:30 pm)
• Celebrate the end of an epic journey to raise funds for student scholarships in Smith’s Ferry (~7:00 to 8:30 pm)
