The Virginia Tech Center for Student Engagement and Community Partnerships (CSECP) and the Virginia Tech Institute for Policy and Governance (VTIPG) have partnered with Via International and the Community Foundation of the New River Valley (CFNRV) to offer a series of dialogues with highly successful leaders from across the globe. These leaders are entrepreneurs, organizers, and spiritual agents who have, often against extreme odds and forces, pressed on to create transformative programs, organizations and systems that address human issues and have had broad impacts on poverty (both physical and spiritual). 

Our dialogue will take place at Virginia Tech the week of April 11th and will involve six transformational social movement/nonprofit leaders, community members, students and faculty.

The mission of these dialogues is to:

• Form an international community for dialogue, learning and exchange,
• Seed the next generation of transformational leaders,
• Build capacity for community and organizational sustainability; and
• Create an emerging global network of support that is cross-generational, diverse, inclusive and grounded in systems that create a better quality of life.
