Objectives:
  • Identify the risk factors for developing Alzheimer's disease and new criteria for diagnosis
  • Assess new imaging modalities and spinal fluid studies in diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease
  • Describe the interaction of diet and Alzheimer's disease
  • Review ongoing clinical trials in Alzheimer's disease
  • Evaluate how to treat or when to refer a red eye
  • Assess ocular side effects from systemic medications
  • Distinguish ocular manifestations of systemic diseases
  • Discuss the epidemiology of Lung Cancer
  • Summarize the results of the National Lung Cancer Screening Trial
  • Identify the features of the low dose lung cancer screening program
  • Describe chronic lymphocytic leukemia and approach to initial evaluation of this disease process
  • Explain different prognostic indicators in patients with CLL
  • Identify approaches and indications for treatment in CLL patients
