Ready, Set, Start Your Business - Astoria

This workshop is for anyone looking to start a new business. Topics covered include identifying your reasons for starting a business, seeing if business ownership is right for you, evaluating your business opportunities, learning the "basics" of starting a business, and much more!

You will come away with a good understanding of what it takes to license, register, and obtain the proper permits, along with other specific needs related to your endeavor.  We will be covering some of the trials and tribulations that others have encountered. That way you can avoid these common pitfalls and that could cause your business to fail due to improper planning. 

We'll also be sharing constructive tools such as LivePlan to help you create your own custom business plan.
