Further, we give you the framework for how to undertake what may appear to be daunting tasks:

Part 2: Legal and Recordkeeping
Part 3: Marketing

Three presenters, each an expert in their respective topic will help you learn how to approach each facet in a logical and straightforward manner. Let us allay your fears by giving you a roadmap to your goal.

One attendee wrote “I’ve been to $400 workshops that weren’t nearly as good as this.”

Part 1 Presenter: Bill Winton

Bill, along with two business partners, started and operated a manufacturing facility for 20+ years. He brings business planning expertise to the table as well as basic knowledge in all aspects of running a manufacturing business.

Part 2 Presenter: Marilyn Scott

Marilyn Scott’s professional background is focused on communication, employee development and organizational dynamics. Before assuming a management position at Intel in Hillsboro, her career included managing employee and organizational development for the American Red Cross Southwest Region, and owning her own consulting business, MK Scott Consulting and Training. She has also worked with many nonprofit organizations and consulted with United Way agencies. She presents SCORE workshops on business basics in addition to topics related to nonprofit management.

Part 3 Presenter: Kaye Kloser

Kaye Kloster worked in the construction industry for over 20 years. She retired from ARC Document Solutions in 2015 as a senior management team member.
