Calibre for Library Staff: 2-Part Webinar (7/10 and 7/17/14) 

IMPORTANT: This is a 2-part webinar that meets Thursdays, July 10 AND July 17 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm ET. You must attend both sessions.

Calibre is a free software application that allows users to manage e-book collections, as well as to create, edit and read e-books. It supports a variety of formats, and offers a lot of features to manage e-readers as well. During this two-part class, we will:

• Discuss the basics of e-books and various publishing formats
• Learn how to install and navigate Calibre’s features
• Show tips and tricks for getting the most out of Calibre
• Explore more advanced features of Calibre

Between classes, attendees will each be asked to put into practice techniques discussed in class. One-on-one assistance with the instructor will be provided during this time.

This is an online class. Access information will be emailed one week ahead.

Cost: NEFLIN classes are free of charge for Florida library staff. Registration is required for all classes and NEFLIN members get priority.
