iPads, tablets, smartphones and computers are in children's everyday home life. Integrating these items into story time will model appropriate interactions for parents and caregivers and encourage additional literacy activities. Participants will be introduced to the basics of using iPads as well as several Apps for use in story time.

Artistic Literacy is a group of librarians, artists, and educators who are committed to teaching others how to connect art to literacy through programming. Elizabeth McConney and Amber Holley both have years of experience working in libraries and providing programs for teens and tweens.

Cost: NEFLIN classes are free of charge for Florida library staff. Registration is required for all classes and NEFLIN members get priority.
