Within a rapidly changing information environment, academic libraries serve a vital role in providing and connecting our community of students, faculty, and staff with accurate and reliable information. As academic librarians, we play an essential role in helping our users understand how to both evaluate and use information in an effort to create an environment of lifelong learning. |
|
As someone relatively new to academic libraries, my hope with this group is to create an open and collaborative space in which we can share ideas, programs, and practices that will not only help us all to continue being successful centers of ideas on our campuses but also help us continue to be lifelong learners. The meeting will take place online on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, from 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm - we look forward to seeing you there! |
