Joe Baca is the Makerspace Librarian at the Alachua County Library District. He has been with Alachua County for close to two years. At the district he is responsible for coordinating and supporting makerspace programming at all 12 library branches. Previously, he worked at the University of Florida for 15 years were he had a variety of duties and responsibilities including binding, web design, marketing, and lastly--running the day to day operations of the 3D printing lab in the Marston Science Library. Joe has a wide interest in a variety of Makerspace related subjects and activities. |
Sarah Grainger is a Makerspace Library Specialist in Adult Services with the Alachua County Library District. She was previously a Teen Library Specialist and has been with the district for four years. Currently, she is pursuing her Masters of Science in Information at Florida State University. Her favorite programs are making things with tweens and young teens, especially using cardboard to build things.
