Genealogy Interest Group Meeting (3/11/20)

Meeting Information

Our next Genealogy Interest Group meeting will be held online on Wednesday, March 11th, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.  We hope you will join us and be part of the conversation!

This quarter, Sarah Stoddard of the BYU Family History Library will present her webinar, "What is DNA Testing?"  Then, Sarah will stay and answer all of your DNA-related questions.
Sarah Stoddard graduated from BYU in 2009 with a degree in Family History.  She's done professional research for several companies since then.  She specializes in German and general US research, as well as DNA research.  She also currently serves as a service missionary at the BYU Family History Library.

We look forward to "seeing" you there!

Interest Group Facilitator:  Jami Beserock

Jami Beserock has worked for the University of Florida Libraries for over 20 years. She started as a Senior Secretary and has worked in various departments such as Serials Check-In, Binding, Reference and Course Reserves. Jami currently works in Interlibrary Loan and is the Genealogy Specialist for the University of Florida libraries. Jami volunteers for Gainesville Rabbit Rescue every Saturday and has a rabbit of her own. She has family in Hungary and Slovakia and almost all of them do not speak English. So it is a good thing she speaks Hungarian and Czech and is still learning Slovak. In May of last year, Jami spent over 2 weeks in Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic visiting her family.

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only.  Registration is strongly encouraged.

A reminder and access information will be sent out one week before the meeting and one day before the meeting.  Please email register@neflin.org if you do not receive your access information.
