Data Cleanup: Best Practices - Webinar (12/10/21)

SnackSized Learning!

  • So, you migrated (or are migrating!) your ILS and wonder about data cleanup...
  • Or you've exported data from your digital library and unfortunately, it is a mess!
  • Or maybe you are starting a project where you will be collecting data

Whatever your data situation is, this lunch n' learn is for you!

We'll talk about the exciting world of data cleanup including how to start data collection workflows and what to do with your existing data. We'll briefly explore MARCEdit for MARC and Digital Archives projects, as well as OpenRefine, and Excel in terms of their data cleanup options. We'll explore best practices for data management.

Investing in good data practices now saves time and work later down the road -- and it is never too late to start! A resources sheet will be provided. This webinar is for all audiences who may be working with data in some capacity.
