 Meeting Information

The NEFLIN Makerspace Interest Group will meet at 9:00 am on Wednesday, May 4th. 

Sara Gonzalez of UF will share about using and loaning sewing machines. Emily O'Neil will show the FSCJ podcasting studio and the equipment available to students to create their podcasts.

Interest Group Facilitator:  Emily O'Neill

Emily O'Neil, MLIS, is an Academic Librarian and a First-Year Experience professor at Florida State College at Jacksonville.  She was a K-12 School Media Specialist for 9 years in New York State. Helping create the Library and Learning Commons STEAM labs has been a highlight and she looks forward to the day the labs can reopen. Meanwhile, podcasting and other interactive online tech fill the gap.

 

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only.  Registration is strongly encouraged.
