LMSW/LCSW Examination Prep Course - 2022 

 

The Tulane School of Social Work (TSSW) will host a six hour LMSW/LCSW Exam Preparation course for aspiring Social Work Licensees or Licensed Social Workers preparing for the Louisiana Clinical License exam. The course is being held on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 8:30am to 4:30pm CST. The course is being offered remotely online.

Participants will receive a study guide, a brief review of subjects included in the exam, acquire exam taking strategies, and take an LCSW sample exam. The group will review answers to the sample test and discuss the processes used in choosing clinically accurate answers. The course will be conducted by Parker Robinson. Mrs. Robinson will equip attendees with current and relevant data provided by NASW and ASWB.

 

This training is designed for individuals preparing for the LMSW/LCSW Licensure Examination. This continuing education workshop provides 6 general hours. The cost of 1 ticket is $150. Tulane School of Social Work adjuncts, DSW candidates, faculty, and staff may contact us for discount codes. Only Master Card and Visa Accepted.

Parker Sternbergh 
Parker Robinson, MHA, LCSW-BACS  is the Director of the Porter Cason Institute and Center for Life Long Learning at the Tulane School of Social Work. She has been at Tulane since 2009. Mrs. Robinson has worked in private clinical practice, agency and community macro settings. 

Parker is the author of this course which has been successfully held annually since 2013. Multiple times a year, Mrs. Robinson hosts an LMSW Exam Preparatory course for the upcoming TSSW graduates. Tulane School of Social Work alumni are among the most successful students to pass state exams on the first attempt.

Registration
The registration fee is $150. Please fill out the online form to register. Payments can be made via credit card.

CANCELLATION POLICY -- In the event you cannot come to our program, it is important for you to notify us 24 hours before the program begins, either by email (preferred) at jstpierre@tulane.edu or via phone at 504-247-1446.  We will refund the registration fee if notified 24 hours prior to the workshop.

The Center for Life Long Learning in the Tulane School of Social Work maintains policies regarding all online courses and events. We kindly ask that all attendees please read the below information.

1. Please do not share the Zoom meeting link with anyone who is not registered.
2. Any attendee who is present but did not register through the proper channels, will not receive credit for the course.
3. Refunds are issued up to 24 hours prior to the event. All cancellations within the 24 hour period or absences cannot be refunded. If you cannot attend, please cancel your registration by emailing jstpierre@tulane.edu. 
4. Please attempt to login to the online meeting through the link at least 20 minutes before the event begins.
5. Please keep your microphone muted while you are not speaking.
6. We ask everyone to please maintain a professional view of your camera if you choose to be seen.
7. If you are interested in the CEU credits, attendance is directly related to the number of credit hours you are eligible to receive. The credit hours are counted in 15 minutes increments.
8. The quiz/evaluation will be emailed the following week.
9. Please login to the meeting using your full name and contact email address. (This information is used for correspondence and attendance.)
10. If you choose to call into the meeting, please use the Zoom audio prompt option. The "Connect to Audio" option will provide you with a unique Participant ID that links your phone number to your name. This option accounts for your attendance.
