Systematic Training for Effective Parenting (STEP)
FREE parenting program to assist parents of 6-12 year olds with skills and strategies. Being a great parent means being caring and committed, and setting long-term goals to be the best parent you can be for your child. At the STEP program, we can help get you there: become more attuned your children’s feelings and behavior, learn strategies for developing your child-self esteem and confidence, and learn positive parenting approach to understanding and raising your children.
STEP Topics Include:
- Understanding Yourself and Your Child- Understanding Beliefs and Feelings
- Encouraging Your Child and Yourself
- Listening and Talking to Your Child
- Helping Children Learn to Cooperate
