James Belange, Partner, CEO, Compass Commercial Construction Group:  As Chief Executive Officer of Compass, James stewards the company’s financial health and nurtures its long-standing CARES culture, vision, and core purpose. Compass specializes in Design-Build delivery of industrial buildings throughout Central Indiana and operates across several markets including both light manufacturing and cold storage construction. Since joining Compass in 2017, James was part of the leadership team growing Compass from $8 million in revenue to over $450 million in 2022. Prior to joining Compass, James spent 18 years at Pepper Construction of Indiana in several leadership roles including Group Leader of Industrial Projects. At Pepper, James and his group completed more than 50 large retail, healthcare and industrial building projects.

Rich Prestholt, Preconstruction Executive, Compass Commercial Construction Group: Rich leads the preconstruction group at Compass and focuses on providing clients with strategic, timely, and collaborative front-end solutions to industrial construction projects. Close collaboration with owner-developer teams, design professionals and subcontractor partners to establish project priorities, maintain valued relationships and ensure clients are delighted is at the core of his role. Rich has over 30-years of experience in the construction industry. Prior to joining Compass, Rich spent 27 years at Duke Realty in various roles with increasing leadership responsibility before joining Compass in early 2022 as Preconstruction Executive.
