This online book study is a great way to learn the best research-based instructional advice available about vocabulary instruction and earn 10 contact hours. This book study will focus on Beck, McKeown, and Kucan’s Bringing Words to Life, 2013, Guilford Press. Participants will read the book and then respond to online collaborative discussions. This book study is designed to provide you with background information, reflection and discussion time, and examples of exemplary vocabulary instruction. The book is relevant for any K-12 teacher. Upon receipt of your paid registration, Dr. Karen Sumner will contact you with directions for beginning the online class.
