Participants in this class will get an introduction to the same innovative entrepreneurship principles currently taught to Columbia MBA students. Building a lean business means that you start and grow the enterprise concurrently while developing a scalable business model, instead of spending months writing a theoretical plan.
Entrepreneurs who follow the lean model sell products or services to their ideal customers with fewer startup costs and with a quicker time to the marketplace.
In this fun and interactive class, participants will complete an Entrepreneurship Assessment and learn about the Customer Discovery Process. Finally, participants will be introduced to the Business Model Canvas used by SBDC advisors in future one-to-one counseling sessions.
