The Chattanooga Women's Leadership Institute has a mission of increasing the leadership capabilities and influence of women in the Chattanooga community. As a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, we cannot and do not support any particular candidate or party. However, in keeping with our mission, CWLI's Women Impacting Policy committee strives to enhance women's understanding of being politically active, empowers women to run for office and empowers women to impact policy. 

Because 2014 is such a big election year for Hamilton County, this is a perfect opportunity to reach out to our membership and beyond to educate women on all the ways they can be involved in the political process, from voting to running for office, and many areas in between.

This Leadership Luncheon will feature a panel of women speaking on the importance of women's involvement in the political process. Panelists include Chattanooga City Council Member Dr. Carol Berz; Molly Cooper, Office of the Mayor, City of Chattanooga; and Sandra Bennett, Past President of Tennessee Women's Political Caucus. The panel will be moderated by Robin Derryberry, Owner of Derryberry Public Relations.
