Since Sniffapalooza began in 2002, there have been times when we've had to pinch ourselves because we could not believe the kindness bestowed upon our passionate group by the fragrance world. Well, one of those times is RIGHT NOW - because we are invited to an exclusive, intimate Master Class and book-signing with Marc Rosen, the legendary perfume bottle designer!

Marc Rosen is beckoning Sniffapalooza into his luminous universe, where our fragrant dreams and fantasies can come true, on Saturday, October 29, from 2pm-4pm at the fabulous New London Luxe in NYC!

In a rare opportunity, Sniffapalooza will have the extreme privilege of premiering Marc Rosen's new book, Glamour Icons: Perfume Bottle Design, which is the first book of its kind to recognize perfume bottle design as an art form and celebrate the most iconic perfume bottles throughout history. Marc will tell us about his life, work and creative influences, and provide an insider's look at this unique brand of artistry including highlights of the design process from the original sketches through completion.

Glamour Icons comprises Marc Rosen's personal reminiscences and industry back-stories, including working at his first job with Charles Revson at Revlon; collaborating with the fashion houses of Chloe, Karl Lagerfeld, Fendi, Perry Ellis, Ellen Tracy, and Jill Stuart and with the celebrities Joan Rivers, Celine Dion, and Christina Aguilera; working on projects with Princess Grace of Monaco and Saudi Prince Fahad; creating a fragrance with actress Arlene Dahl, whom he later married; and designing packaging for the beauty houses of Avon, Bath & Body Works, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder, Victoria's Secret, Oscar de la Renta, Halston, Burberry, and Nina Ricci.

Marc Rosen is a seven-time winner of the FiFi Award, and he teaches the only course in existence worldwide on fragrance packaging in Pratt Institute's Graduate Program in Communications Design. Proceeds from the sale of Glamour Icons benefit the Marc Rosen Scholarship Fund for Packaging by Design at Pratt Institute, which is the only scholarship in the world available to college students looking to pursue careers in cosmetics and package design.

After the presentation, there will be ample time to chat with Marc one-on-one and he will personally sign all purchases of Glamour Icons.
