CANCELLATION POLICY

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ

Due to rising cost and expenses generated by students who register for our courses and do not attend without notification, it has become necessary to institute the following policy:

In order to qualify for a full refund, students (or their employing agencies) must cancel no less than two weeks prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellations must be received via e-mail, and/or fax to the attention of the course coordinator. A confirmation of receipt and a cancellation number must be obtained from the coordinator. No claims will be accepted unless the aforementioned is adhered to. Cancellations made within the two week time period are subject to a $150 fee. Substitutions of students may be made at any time. Please call us immediately if you have any questions.

NOTE: NO-SHOWS (INCLUDING THOSE WHO CANCEL AFTER 3PM ON THE THURSDAY PRECEDING THE COURSE) WILL BE INVOICED THE FULL REGISTRATION FEE

2023 HEROES INVOLVED IN VIOLENT ENCOUNTERS

(H.I.V.E.)

This is a dynamic, hands-on training designed to give officers a survival mindset and the tools to win during violent encounters. The training is designed to give officers training on Defensive Tactics, Building Searches, Force-on-Force and Scenario-Based Training. The goal of this course is to give the officers the ability to use tools and tactics together during the evolution of a violent encounter. The training is rigorous by design so that officers will have to make tactful decisions under stressful situations and perform during scenario-based training.

This course will provide the students with information and training in the following areas:

Hand to Hand Combat
Takedowns
Two Man Takedowns
Jiu Jitsu for Law Enforcement
Emphasize Control Over Handcuffing
Weapon Retension
Building Searches
Breaching
Searching with Ballistic Shield

The fee for this course is $1,075
