Backyard Forestry in 90 Minutes 

"Backyard Forestry in 90 Minutes" is a FREE educational program series sponsored by Rutgers Cooperative Extension, State Forestry Services & the NJ Forestry Association.

November's Topic:

"Backyard Forest Maple Sugaring" presented by Charlize Katzenback, Sweet Sourland Farms

If you have a maple tree greater than 10" in diameter, you can tap it during "sugaring season" and boil down the liquid to make maple syrup.  Get started by learning when and where to tap, and the techniques and equipment needed to render this sweet treat. 

There is NO CHARGE for this program, but due to limited space, registration is requested no later than two days prior (November 11th).  To register, click on the link below.
