It’s amazing!  We have such a variety of organizations and people coming together to help this event happen: both faith based and secular rehab programs, hospitals, city officials and counselors.   

All throughout the event, local and state agencies will be set up to share information about their specific ministries or programs. Registration for the walk begins at 8am,  with the walk going from 9am-10am. From 10am-1pm we will have bands and speakers sharing from the stage. 

Please RSVP so that we know how many people to prepare for.  This will also secure a seat for you in the venue. If you’re a walker, agency or business sponsor, follow this link to register.  If you haven't registered, please come anyway. The event, walk, concert and food are free.  Bring a dish if you wish. We will be giving away event t-shirts, but donations will be accepted.  Agency table setup is free, but donations will be accepted.  More business sponsors for the event are needed: All donations are accepted, but those of $100-$200 will get the business name on a banner, to be displayed at the event.

If you’re struggling with addiction, or have a family member who needs help, please come be  part of this event. There will be some great resources, encouragement and inspiration to help you get on a road to recovery.

We are creating a website, www.SobrietyNetwork.org, providing a nationwide directory, a calendar of events and a “jobs available” section.  It will offer a connection to the help you need. 

Nationwide Directory: We are building a network of recovery programs, detox centers, prison re-entry homes, shelters, halfway houses, churches, counselors and advocate groups.  Be a part of the solution to the drug/alcohol problem in our area , and help bring an end to the drug war. Whether it’s faith based or secular, inpatient or outpatient, counseling or a good church, we want to help you find a community.  We hope this site can be a help to you.
