Quickbooks® Desktop: 5 Essential Steps Before Year End - C0255

This hands-on workshop about how to detect, fix, and prevent the most common data entry mistakes is designed for business owners who are current QuickBooks Desktop users with at least an intermediate proficiency in using the software and a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Workshop Objectives - Upon completion of this workshop you should be able to:

  • Identify trouble areas of income, expenses, A/R, A/P, and other balance sheet items in your books
  • Fix the most common mistakes relating to entering accounts receivable transactions
  • Fix the most common mistakes relating to entering accounts payable transactions
  • Understand how sales tax is recorded in QuickBooks and use the correct workflow
  • Obtain more reliable financials to timely plan for a stress-free and less taxing year-end

PLEASE NOTE:  Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop with their current QuickBooks for Windows software installed. A backup of the QuickBooks file used during the workshop will be sent to all email addresses provided during registration approximately 2 days prior to the date of the workshop. This backup can be restored to all QuickBooks for windows versions 2016 and newer.

Currently in the 19th year of her third successful business venture, Cora is a tax professional and an expert in QuickBooks training and troubleshooting for desktop (Windows & Mac) and QuickBooks Online. She focuses on coaching clients in accounting and business best practices to boost their bottom line in a tax-efficient way. She is enrolled to practice before the IRS and holds current certifications in all versions of QuickBooks Desktop and an advanced certification in QuickBooks Online.
