Join the Upstate Alliance for the Creative Economy (ACE), WMHT Educational Telecommunications, and Youth FX for "Rogue Film School," a series of discussions with film industry veterans sharing their experience with the next generation of filmmakers.
Rogue Film School kicks off at WMHT with Heidi Levitt, casting director for 100+ feature films including Academy Award-winning The Artist, Nixon, JFK, Cesar Chavez, The Joy Luck Club, Lakeview Terrace, and many more. Heidi is a graduate of Barnard College and The American Film Institute, where she has served as adjunct faculty.
Heidi will be interviewed by Bhawin Suchak, Executive Director of Youth FX, a hands-on filmmaking program in Albany teaching youth aged 14-19 the technical and creative aspects of digital film making from script to screen.
"Rogue Film School" programs are free and open to all.
