Celebrate and explore with us on our first CAPregion Road Trip. The CAPregion Road Trips are a celebration and exploration of the amazing array of cities and towns in our eight counties. Meet artists, performers, business people, politicians and others who are working together to build the amazing, creative places right in our region.
We're hitting the road and heading to Hoosick Falls for a night of fun, food, and entertainment in this buzzing creative community.
The event is at Unihog, a repurposed mannequin factory turned music venue and community gathering space, featuring regional entertainment and a fantastic, farm-centric food partnership with Sumo's Kitchen, where Maestro Gary Yeung brings a Chinese twist to classic food from America and abroad. We'll enjoy tastings from rural producers, including Argyle Brewing, dedicated to increasing opportunities for artisans, farmers, and entrepreneurs by using locally sourced hops and barleys; Tonic & Tinctures Bitters Company, is making cocktails fun, while giving us a chance to try their goods, and Berle Farms, a certified organic farmstead has a 20 year history of diverse farming will be bringing cheese for us to try, and buy.
Entertainment for the evening will be Unihog Resident Musician Laura Leigh Lanchantin, who is not only a musician, but an artist as well!
Scarp Farm out of Hoosick Falls will be at our event! Scarp Farm is an Industrial Hemp producer. Come and meet the folks who are on the front edge of a new revolution and learn more about this exciting industry!
The list keeps getting longer folks. Iron Coffee Company will be on hand for product tastings at our event at Unihog. Iron Coffee Co. is a small-batch roaster and coffee shop located in the heart of Hoosick Falls, NY. Supported by an invigorating product and a great brand identity the folks at Iron Coffee are showing us how its done.
