John Searles is a New York Times bestselling and award-winning author of Help for the Haunted and Strange but True. His books are published in over a dozen languages and have been voted “Best of the Year” or top picks by Boston Globe, Entertainment Weekly, Salon, and the American Library Association. For 23 years, John was the books editor of Cosmopolitan, also serving as the magazine’s brand director, executive editor, and editor-at-large. He has appeared on NBC’s Today Show, CBS This Morning, CNN, NPR’s Fresh Air, and other shows to discuss his books.

Kate White is the New York Times bestselling author of the standalone thrillers The Fiancée, Have You Seen Me?, and The Secrets You Keep, among others, as well as eight Bailey Weggins mysteries. Her next book, The Second Husband, publishes in late June. White is also the author of several popular career books for women, including I Shouldn’t Be Telling You This, and editor of the Anthony and Agatha Award nominated The Mystery Writers of America Cookbook.
