Guest Speaker - Michael Riesner

Michael Riesner is Head of Equities Technical Analysis at UBS Investment Bank and his team is based in Zurich.

Michael is servicing the top investment banking clients of UBS globally and his team gives advice to the UBS wealth management and the global asset management divisions of UBS. With the Technical Weekly the team has a global product which is well received in the industry. It is in particularly the focus on market cycles and the cross asset class approach, which differentiates the product from competitors and which makes it a valued service for clients.

Before he joined UBS in October 2003 he spent 5 years as Head of Technical Analysis at DZ Bank in Frankfurt. Michael has a degree in economics and he is in charge of the advanced education program of German Association of Technical Analysis (VTAD), which is a wing of the International Federation of Technical Analysis (IFTA).

Michael is the top rated Technical Analyst in the 2012, 2011 and 2010 EXTEL Pan European Survey. In the B�rsenzeitung Equity Analyst Award his team was rated No 2 in 2010 and 2011.
