Our 6th annual fundraising event for the Women's Museum of California includes samplings of wine, cheese and chocolate from manufacturers and local chefs. Dance to the music of Sue Palmer, Queen of Boogie Woogie, on the beautiful grassy North Promenade at Liberty Station, right in front of the Women's Museum of California. The Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Festival is a great way to kick off your summer.... an evening under the stars.
Coming together as a community is an important part of our mission. Monies raised at this event are allocated towards permanent collection preservation, research, and cultural and educational programming focused on educating the public about women's history and gender imbalance. In addition, funds allow us to not only curate our many exhibits and annual juried art show - bringing recognition to contemporary California women artists - but also enable the WMC to host events and programs by women-focused community organizations.
Volunteer opportunities are always available. Please fill out the WMC's Web form here if you are interested in being part of the Museum Team.
