This May the Chamber is bringing you an enticing lunch/ Chamber meeting where you will have the pleasure to learn more about the importance of transportation infrastructure and what is being done to foster this for the surronding area.

DETAILS ABOUT EVENT AND KEYNOTE SPEAKER:

Name:  Rick Rock

Title:     Executive Director of the North Central West Virginia Air Port

Topic:    The North Central West Virginia Airport is just over an hour from the Elkins-Randolph County line.  Mr. Rock will be speaking about the airport’s soon to be reached goal to aquire more flights to larger airports such as Chicago, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Dallas, Charlotte, etc. 

This goal, once attained, will foster business in Randolph County, by making it more simple to travel to the area.  No longer will travelers need to go through Yeager Airport in Charleston, or drive as far away as Washington D.C. to catch a major flight.  By having flights such as these Elkins and Randolph County becomes a much simpler place for development, tourism, economic growth.
