Conference registrants can park at the Clifton Parking Deck at 2330 N. Clifton (On Clifton just south of Fullerton).  Parking vouchers will be available at the conference registration desk for an ILACHE discounted rate of $8.00.

We are planning an exciting 20th Annual ILACHE Professional and Student Development Conference.  DePaul University will host the event on Friday, March 23, 2012.

Luncheon Keynote Address 

Dr. Maria Eugenia Cotera, a Chicana, feminist, activist, author, researcher and professor will provide the keynote address.   http://www.diversity.umich.edu/about/faces_cotera34v.php.  Welcoming remarks by Carrie J. Hightman, Chairwoman of Illinois Board of Higher Education.

Plenary Panelists include - Miguel del Valle, Former Illinois State Senator and Chicago City Clerk; Fred Tsao, Policy Director for Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights; Alonzo Rivas, General Counsel MALDEF Midwest Regional Office, Andrew Sund, President, St. Augustine College. Moderated by Dr. Santos Rivera, Illinois Board of Higher Educaition.  

Registration -  Individual and group registrations, for up to ten persons, can be processed online by clicking the Register Now ! button below.  At the end of  your registration, you will have an option to print your ticket. Please print it and take it with you. It will serve as your entry for our raffle.  

Forms of Payment - At the end of your registration, you may select a form of payment. For your convenience, our registration system allows you to process a payment with a credit card, however, you can also pay with a check.  If you plan to use a Purchase Order, you can send your PO number to conference@ilache.com and we will forward an invoice.  The ILACHE FEIN # is 36-4120657.

Nomination for Student Research Posters - We extend an invitation to faculty from Illinois colleges and universities to nominate emerging scholars for the Research Forum.  This cross-disciplinary form was created to showcase the scholarly work of undergraduate and graduate students.  Click on the link below for more information. Cancellation Policy:  Written notice is required by March 12, 2012 for a partial refund.  Please send it to conference@ilache.com or by fax to (312) 362-7147. 

Registration:  As a special incentive, the fees are lower if you pay for a registration and membership at the same time and if you register by the early registration deadline, March 9.  

  • Professional registration and membership: $100 ($125 after March 9)
  • Professional registration without membership:  $125 ($140 after March 9)
  • Student registration and membership:  $20 ($30 after March 9)
  • Student registration without membership: $30 ($40 after March 9)
