 Dues for existing members are payable by February 15th.  Renewals paid after then will be subject to a $10 late fee.

New members should register as soon as possible and pay within one week.

2017 Major Events 

Kreger 2-Man Match Medal Championship
Brackets with up to 64 2-man teams competing throughout the season at full handicap.

Club Championship, Cup and Senior Match Play
Flighted brackets with individual matches played throughout the season.  All flights other than Club Championship are played at full handicap.

May 13 - The Mixer
4-man teams (assigned by the committee for 1-2-3 competion) and individual prizes.  Morning shotgun start with lunch and Club meeting after golf.

June 10 - The Memorial
2-man blind partner stableford (net - total team score) with pairings by flight.  Morning tee times.

July 8 - The Jeff & Jeff
2-man teams earn points (modified Stableford) relative to a “quota” for their handicaps. Morning tee times.

July 29 - President’s Cup
Medal play (low gross and low net) with pairings by flight.  Morning shotgun start with lunch and Club meeting after golf.

August 12 & 13 - Bill Eckhardt 2-Man Best Ball       
2-man best ball played 90% of handicap.  Morning tee times.

September 17 - The Wind-Up
Medal play (low gross and low net) plus the “Players Cup” low gross and net competitions for the top 32 players in our season long point standings.  Morning shotgun start.

Club Overview
 
If you are interested in playing competitive golf on weekends (scratch and net devisions) with gentlemen of all age and skill levels on Milwaukee's premiere public golf course, the Brown Deer Men's Golf Club is for you.

Formed in 1934, the Brown Deer Men’s Golf Club is comprised of nearly 200 amateurs who enjoy playing competitive golf and the camaraderie of membership. The club holds several stroke play, match play, individual and team competitions for its members each year at Brown Deer Park Golf Course and other Milwaukee area courses. USGA rules are strictly followed.

Members’ handicaps range from near scratch to over 30 and their ages range from the 20’s to the 70’s. Some members play once a month, some play over 50 rounds per year.  We wecome anyone seeking to get involved.

Annual club dues are as follows:
Regular member (age 26+): $105
Associate member (age 25 or less as of Jan. 1): $55
Senior member (age 65+ after 5 years): $70
Life member (45+ conecutive years): $45
Honorary member (by induction): $33 - for reimbursement of WSGA and MCPLA fees paid by the club
Social member or leave of absence: $25

Costs for each event vary based on location and various factors (time of year, food & drinks included, prizes, event format, etc.).

Club dues includes a USGA handicap, Wisconsin State Golf Association membership and Milwaukee County Public Links Association membership.

Match play tournaments:
“Club Championship”: 36-man bracket, scratch
“Cup Matches”: 8 to 16-man brackets, flighted, net
“2-Man Match Medal  Tournament”: ~64-team bracket, handicapped, team score hole-by-hole

Group play on Saturday mornings:
“Spring Tour”:  Late March through late April at other area courses
“Summer Tour”:  During the summer on select weekends at Brown Deer
“Fall Tour”:  During October at other area courses

Inter-club matches (~ monthly):
“First Team”:  Clubs in the County field teams and compete for a season-long point title; scratch match play (primarily for single digit handicaps)
“Second Team”: Similar to “First Team”, but for all golfers and handicapped

Other:
Optional meetings at the clubhouse on the first Wednesday of each month March through October with PGA clinics, contests, etc
Winter social and membership registration day
Annual awards happy hour and dinner in October
