As dental practitioners, we are often faced with the dilemma of how and when to treat recession and non carious cervical lesions. Historically, there have been many theories and opinions on the etiology of this phenomenon, which often contradicted each other. A review of current pediatric dental trauma care and related topics. Kids will be kids, and they will find new and interesting ways to injure their mouths. What we do to treat and manage these injuries in the pediatric dental office changes constantly. The course attendee will learn what is new and effective for various trauma situations, as well as child and parent management in the traumatic injury situation.
