"What is the return on investment for high quality child care? What can you do to ensure high quality child care for court and agency involved children?"

Commissioner Bobby Cagle, Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL) and Stephanie Blank, founding chair of the governing board of the Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students (GEEARS) will be our presenters and will address these questions.

The presentation will be streamed live via Internet from Emory Law School's Tull Auditorium and will also archived. The live event is open for attendance in person at no charge. Many county juvenile courts are viewing the webcast in-house with follow up discussion/working group sessions. Please check with your court administrator for details. If planning to attend the presentation at Emory in person, please register so that we may adequately prepare materials and refreshments.  Also, please note the start time of this event is 9:00 a.m.

In addition to the Barton Center, DECAL and GEEARS sponsorship, this event is also made possible by funding from the Community Foundation of Greater Atlanta and the Committee on Justice for Children. Additional partners providing in kind assistance include Casey Family Programs; Georgia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice; the Georgia Department of Education; the Georgia Deparment of Human Services; Voices for Georgia's Children; Prevent Child Abuse Georgia; and Georgia CASA.

2.0 CLE credits for attorneys will be offered.
CLE fees will be accepted at the door $10 cash or check only payable to “Emory University.”
