Tsu Fil Duvids has been heard at Limmud NY, Limmud Philly, and many locations in between (synagogues, community centers and theaters (including, in NJ, the Crossroads Theater in New Brunswick and Marasco Center for the Performing Arts in Monroe), street fairs, cafes, bar and bat mitzvahs, and weddings), plus twice at the Rejoice Festival of Jewish Music.
The ensemble is comprised of Clarinet Dave Goldfarb, Bass Dave Schiff, Piano Dave Schlossberg, with Rob (Dave) Lowe on violin, Asher (Dave) Siebert on trumpet, Richard (Dave) Buchbinder on melodica and keyboards, Michael (Dave) Santoro on trombone, and Beverly (Davida) Novick on drums.
Among the Klezmer pieces the group will perform at the FJCC will be a Frand klezmorim freylekh medey. This music was part of the repertoire of the Frand klezmorim who were led by Chaskel Frand, grandfather of Sharon Frant Brooks, a member of the FJCC.
