40th Annual Truman Dinner

Friday, Sept 18 at 5:30pm at the Glenn Miller Ballroom CU

The Truman Dinner is our time-honored and biggest annual fundraiser.  You’ll meet great Dems, enjoy good food, hear an inspiring speaker and get a chance to bid on fabulous silent auction items – all to the benefit of supporting your local Democratic Party and electing Democrats up and down the ballot.

We are quite honored to have as our guest speaker Thomas Perez, a proud Democrat, a consumer advocate, a civil rights lawyer and son of Domincan immigrants who has been US Secretary of Labor since 2013.  CNN Politics calls Perez a liberal hero who gives fiery and passionate speeches.

The dinner will be buffet-style, so no need to indicate an entrée preference.  Most of the meal will be gluten-free, and there will be vegetarian options

Tickets are $95 which will help elect the next Democratic President, restore the Democratic majority in the Senate and protect progressive seats on the Supreme Court.  Boulder County is key and the 2016 effort starts now!

Thank you for joining us for a night of fun and Democratic pride!

Important: Your ticket price is considered a political contribution and is not tax deductible.  The amount will count toward your annual $3,650 combined contribution limit to the county, district and state Democratic Parties in Colorado ($3,050 max to state party). The contribution is attributed to the person signing the check or whose name is on the credit card, or to the business listed on the check or credit card.  Foreign citizens may attend as guests of an American, but election law prohibits our accepting any funds from foreign citizens or businesses.  Similarly, we are prohibited from accepting funds from corporations or PCs.  If your business is an LLC, you may contribute, but please contact truman@bocodems.org for special instructions.
