Nonprofit Learning Series: Tillamook Workshop

Join CNS for a Nonprofit Learning Series workshop in Tillamook designed to build a smart, strong, engaged board. Whether you are new to board service or a long-serving member this training will clarify your responsibilities, give your board tools for recruitment and retention, and inspire you to find new ways to engage your board in fundraising.

Workshop Topics:

Board Recruitment & Retention (with Roles & Responsibilities)

As part of CNS's work with The Ford Family Foundation, Program Director Jess Hampton has prepared tools for boards who are concerned about recruitment and retention. In this session, she will present ways to recruit new members and keep current board members engaged. She'll also discuss the roles and responsibilities of a nonprofit board of directors.

Practical Ways to Engage your Board in Fundraising

In this session, join CNS's Executive Director, Jenn Clemo, to discuss how to get your board involved with fundraising. She'll discuss the most common barriers that prevent them from participating, and then present creative ways directors can use their unique talents to help.

Schedule:

1:00pm -- Board Recruitment & Retention (with Roles & Responsibilities)
2:45pm -- Break
3:00pm -- Practical Ways to Engage your Board in Fundraising
4:30pm -- Adjourn

Note: There's been a change in our location. Instead of the Officer's Mess Hall, we are now meeting in the conference room!
