Monday, May 2 through Friday, May 6

In front of Oahu’s schools and youth hubs

Youth, teachers and youth leaders: Help us help animals. Form a road-side rally team at your school or clubhouse and help animals! In honor of Be Kind to Animals Week, the Hawaiian Humane Society invites all youth to wave signs to increase kindness and raise awareness to help animals. Participants earn community service hours for time spent preparing for and participating in their rally. Organizers also earn a scholarship to the popular Animal Hero service learning training class.

Get Started in 4 Easy Steps

  1. Organize a date and time with your school or club advisor
  2. Register your rally with the Hawaiian Humane Society
  3. Make signs and animal costumes before your rally.
  4. Dress up and wave signs in front of your school or clubhouse. Post photos to our Facebook and Instagram. One lucky photo will be selected to win a pizza paw-ty for 30 classmates!
