The University of Virginia will host the Charlottesville Symposium on April 13, 2013. The Symposium is a banquet-style education forum, featuring a panel of the regions most distinguished political & education leaders. The event will offer a full-course meal over live jazz music, followed by an engaging panel discussion on "The State of Education in America: The Cause & The Solution." Various institutions, educators, politicians, businesses, and organizations will be represented to show their support for the advancement of education in Central Virginia. Members of the community and surrounding cities will converge to discuss local, regional, and global education reform. The Symposium Tour-Charlottesville is the first regional education gathering of its magnitude, and will be covered by numerous news and television stations.
