Around the World Lake Gathering presented by the Walled Lake Civic Fund

On behalf of the Walled Lake Civic Fund, and our event sponsors, The Greenhouse of Walled Lake and The Beach: Tiki Bar & Boil, we would like to invite you to our annual Around the World Gathering. This event will take place at three locations across Walled Lake. You may start and stop at any location, follow the fleet of boats thoughout the day.  Join us for this fun gathering!

Event Day Information: Itinerary and Rules


Stop 1: Shoreline Condos (11am-2pm)- Breakfast sandwiches and sides including Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's will be provided

Stop 2: The Barge Sandbar Party with DJ Mike (2:30- 5:30pm)  Location: In front of Pavilion Park in Novi.  This will be an in water/swim around stop with DJ Mike pumping jams. Bring your favorite shot to share at this stop.  We will be randomly giving out a special event item at this stop, details day of.

Stop 3: The Beach: Tiki Bar & Boil Neon Party (6:30pm)  The last stop will be at The Beach with a cookout and band provided for all guests.  Get in free with your event wristband.


Please note the following rules to help insure a safe and fun gathering.  All participants must be 21 or older, no exceptions!

1.  Please be respectful of all participants and boats involved.  As always, if you choose to consume alcohol we ask that you and anyone on your boat please drink responsibily!

2.  Each Boat Captain will be personally responsible and liable for everyone on their boat.  All boating regulations and guidelines must be followed.  For any questions please check with the City of Walled Lake and/or Novi. 

3.  All participants will be required to have a wrist band to attend and participate in any of the activities. We have added the following options for you to purchase a wrist band...

a. Pre-register online with a $30 donation to the WLCF.  You can pick your wrist band up at The Beach:Tiki Bar and Boil on Friday August 27th between 5:00-8pm.

b. Day of event purchase for a $40 donation to the WLCF.  Onsite representatives will have bands for sale at the first stop ONLY!

4.  We will be pre-selling event apparel.  Purchases can be made online with your registration. Tee shirts, tank tops,hoodies and tote bags available in your color choice.  Logo is to the left.  You can pick apparel up with wristband or the day of ATW at the first stop.  Please note, once you purchase you will receive an email for size and color from wlcfmarketing@gmail.com.
